Ballad Health is posting on Facebook that ordinary cardiovascular surgery will continue Monday at Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport.
This coming in the wake of taking note of that a cluster of cardiac deaths happened a week ago and surgeries were willfully suspended to review care.
In the post, Ballad says it was “atypical” to see the cluster so near one another.
The survey included Ballad’s Quality Support Team, Infection Prevention, other corporate assets, and state and local health authorities.
Ballad reports that the audit reasoned that the setbacks were not the consequence of a contamination or framework disappointment.
Ballad says it finished up nothing wasn’t right with its standard of care.
